Adverbs and adjectives are the writer's friend. They give more life to objects and actions, allowing the reader to picture the author's scene or characters more accurately.
By definition an adjective is a word that describes, limits or modifies a noun or pronoun. An adverb does the same thing but to a verb or action word.
