Plot Snitch: A Magicless Room at Hogwarts.
More Info: Isn't it odd that Dumbledore neglects Muggle technology in
the fight against Voldemort? What if he didn't?
The Magicless Room is sort of like a clean room in a lab. No magic is done there (because it won't work) and that's where he operates non-magical electronics like computers and radios.
Or it could belong to another Professor (Snape) or an advanced student.
Imagine the directions you could go with the Magicless Room. Like luring Voldemort (or on a lesser level, Malfoy) there and - Merlin forbid - they actually have to fight without a wand.

Plot Snitch: Explain what kept Lupin from being trusted by the Potters
and Black for news of the Secret Keeper. It is assumed (or mentioned?) that
werewolves at the time were flocking to Voldemort's side, but surely James and
Sirius would have known Remus well enough to know he wouldn't. So what changed
their perspective about him, or made them suspicious of not trusting him? Preferably
would like to see non-slash (as in Remus became gay and was afraid of his friends
reaction or some such) unless its done VERY well and believably, with a nice
little plot twist.

Plot Snitch: Harry gets amnesia somehow (doesn't make it back from the
grave yard in GoF?) and is wondering around aimlessly when who should come across
him but the Malfoys. They figure out what happened to him and tell him they
are the closest thing to family he has. He ends up living with them believing
he is a distant cousin and that Albus Dumbledore is a horribly evil man who
killed Harry's dad, Voldemort. Harry wants revenge (he is of course playing
into the Malfoys' hand this whole time, Voldemort should probably be dead but
I'll let you figure that out) and decides to alter his appearance and attend
Hogwarts under the premonition that he is an exchange student from somewhere
(Durstramg? "but my mother is British, so I can speak English well"?). He can
be sorted into Slytherin if you want to make it easy on yourself, Gryffindor
if you want a bit more of a challenge (although Gryffindor would be easier to
explain IE: he was already sorted there so the hat need only confirm him). After
a very interesting year (you fill this part in) where all the Gryffindor are
morning the death of someone named Harry, our hero tries to exact revenge on
Dumbledore only to fail, at some point he regains his senses and starts working
as a double agent for Albus. (maybe this could happen 1/2 way through the year?)
Anyhow, that should be plenty to build off of and play with. I would recommend
totally screwing with Ron and Hermione's emotions (this guy for some reason
totally reminds them of Harry but he is mean to them bla bla bla he plays seeker
just as well as harry did) If you use this, please just e-mail me so I can read
